Before denim belonged to the world, it belonged to the sailors of Genoa — the cloth of the Italian port that gave "jeans" its very name. Il Genovese returns the fabric to its origins.

A relaxed backpack in stone-washed denim, softened and shaded like a favorite pair broken in over years. The silhouette is easy and unbothered: a roomy main compartment, a full-width front pocket beneath a woven denim strap, and braided pulls knotted by hand.

Light on the shoulders and indifferent to weather or occasion, it is the House at its most casual — the piece for the lecture hall, the day bag, the carry that asks nothing.

MADE TO ORDER

Il Genovese is not held in stock. Each backpack is cut, washed, stitched and finished by hand in Italy only after your order is placed — the pulls braided and knotted individually, which is why no two are quite alike, and why it does not arrive tomorrow.

Please allow 4–6 weeks from the date of order for your piece to be completed, followed by 5–7 business days for delivery. You will receive confirmation when your order enters production, and again when it ships with tracking.
