The flap falls closed over everything a working day demands: a padded compartment for the laptop, slip pockets for papers and the phone, room besides for the book and the umbrella hope forgot. Antique hardware fastens with a decisive click; the adjustable shoulder strap settles the weight for the commute, the campus, the crossing of town.
Like its sibling La Vela, the waxed cloth weathers beautifully — shading and softening into a finish that belongs to its carrier alone.

Il Postino is not held in stock. Each piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand in Italy only after your order is placed — which is why no two are quite alike, and why it does not arrive tomorrow.
Please allow 4–6 weeks from the date of order for your piece to be completed, followed by 5–7 business days for delivery. You will receive confirmation when your order enters production, and again when it ships with tracking.
