La Vela — Waxed Canvas & Leather Duffle

Before the House worked in hides alone, there was the cloth of the voyage itself — sailcloth. La Vela honors it: a duffle cut from densely waxed canvas in a sun-warmed tan, framed in full-grain leather at every point of wear.

The canvas does what waxed canvas has always done at sea — sheds weather, softens with handling, and takes on a lived-in finish all its own. Leather belted straps cross the face; rolled leather handles take the hand; a side zip pocket keeps the immediate close. Within, an organized interior of zippered and slip pockets brings order to the packing.

Carried by hand or slung by its webbed shoulder strap, La Vela is the lighter companion to the House's leather voyagers — easier on the shoulder, no less ready for the journey.

MADE TO ORDER

La Vela is not held in stock. Each duffle is cut, stitched and finished by hand in Italy only after your order is placed — which is why no two are quite alike, and why it does not arrive tomorrow.

Please allow 4–6 weeks from the date of order for your piece to be completed, followed by 5–7 business days for delivery. You will receive confirmation when your order enters production, and again when it ships with tracking.
